Creelsboro Digital Media Archives
Interested in Creelsboro history? Ask about our Digital Media Archive!
Many of the residents who participated in the Creelsboro History Preservation Project have graciously allowed the Kentucky Archaeological Survey to provide RCPL with digital media from their collection of family photographs and oral history interviews to be used by the public for research and educational purposes. Any additional uses, including publication and commercial use, require the advance, written permission of the participant (heirs and assigns) who donated the materials and retain full copyrights, and The Kentucky Archaeological Survey.
Participating residents wish that this invaluable collection, documenting life in the Creelsboro valley from the late 1700s to present day, should be accessible to researchers, educators, and students in Russell County, today and for future generations. The Creelsboro Digital Media Archive contains rare family photographs and oral history interviews of area residents conducted from 2015 to 2019 and is currently available for in-house research at RCPL.
