The Russell County Public Library strives to curate a broad collection of books, movies, magazines, and other media, meeting the diverse needs and interests of our community and allowing for the maximum possibility of free expression and free access to ideas.  Suggestions and requests for additions to the collection from our community are welcomed.

RCPL also supports parental and guardian rights who hold ultimate responsibility for the content their child accesses.  RCPL will assume no responsibility in this regard and parents or guardians who wish to limit their child’s access to certain materials should accompany or advise their child.
