What is Sensory Key?

A visual tool consisting of icons to help indicate the sensory elements associated with various programs and activities at your RCPL. These icons will provide essential information, empowering our community members to make informed decisions about their participation.

How will it work?

Each program at your RCPL will feature the Sensory Key icons in its promotional materials. By clearly communicating these elements, we hope to create a thoughtful and accommodating environment for comfortable participation.

Why is this important?

We understand sensory elements can significantly impact one’s ability to enjoy public spaces and events. The introduction of Sensory Key reflects our dedication to making your RCPL an all-inclusive space where our community can feel safe and included.
