Kids & Teens
Tween Programs
Tweens (ages 7 to 12) are bridging the gap between kids and teen services. The Russell County Public Library recognizes this and strives to provide programming that will satisfy their need for independence and connection. From afternoon crafts to pop culture-inspired evening events, tweens can always find something just for them at RCPL.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and CDC guidelines, we are unable to conduct in-person programming at this time.
Tween STREAM
This monthly program focuses on the exploration of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, READING/WRITING, ENGINEERING, ARTS, and MATH in fun interactive ways.
Coding Club
Tweens are introduced to computer programming alongside their peers in this project-based club.
Visit the Events page for dates/times.
