Can I get a title you don't have through interlibrary loan?

Of course.  Our interlibrary loan services are provided at no charge to you through participating libraries of Kentucky.

  • Patrons must have held a library card for at least three months in good standing in order to request books through the interlibrary loan service.
  • If the book is shipped from out of state, there is a $3.00 postage charge.
  • The circulation period of interlibrary loan material is determined by the lending library and renewals are generally not allowed.
  • Generally, interlibrary loan materials must have been in publication for at least six months prior.

Let one of our friendly staff members complete an interlibrary loan request form the next time you visit the Library, or make your request over the phone.  You can also suggest that a book be reviewd for possible addition to our collection.
