Kristina Daffron

Library Assistant

Kristina Daffron is no stranger to the Russell County Public Library. She performed inventory for the Library in the summer of 2009 and 2011 and joined the Library in her current position as Library Assistant in the summer of 2015. “I’m addicted to Dr. Pepper and consider myself a pop-culture enthusiast,” says Kristina, who also loves to read and write. She also enjoys acting in community theatre at The Star Theater in Russell Springs.

After graduating from Russell County High School in 2012, Kristina went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts in News-Editorial Journalism from Western Kentucky University. She graduated a year early in May 2015. During her time there she wrote for WKU’s College Heights Herald and was a student assistant and lab monitor at WKU’s School of Journalism and Broadcasting. She won 2nd place for Best Feature Story in the Kentucky Press Association’s 2013 Excellence in KY Newspapers – University Division.

She lives in Russell Springs with her husband, Evan.
